Earlier this year, YouTuber Marques Brownlee said the Fisker Ocean was the "worst car I've ever reviewed." I thought the Fisker Ocean was a great option, based on the price and a nice marketing message around the sustainability of the vehicle. I reported the issue to Fisker right away and I struggled to get them to come out and service it. FiskerAt first, Fisker sent out a roadside assistance guy to jump the car and the car wouldn't jump. Regarding the owner's seat-sensor issue, the Fisker spokesperson said the seat sensor was a "routine fix for some early vehicles."

The California-based electric SUV company Fisker faces a real possibility of bankruptcy, and its stock is hovering just over 2 cents a share, far below its 2021 peak of $28.50. Prices for Fisker’s Ocean SUV have been cut by as much 39%. The company is in discussions with an existing investor about possibly putting more money into the company, the EV maker said in its announcement. Last year, Magna produced more than 10,193 Fisker SUVs, but fewer than half of those were delivered to customers within the calendar year, the company announced. New York CNN —Angela Chao, CEO of the shipping company the Foremost Group and sister of former US cabinet secretary Elaine Chao, was killed in a car crash in Texas on Sunday, according to a spokesperson for her company. Angela Chao, 50, had been CEO of the shipping company since 2018, assuming the role from her father, James S.C. Chao, who had founded it in 1964. “Angela Chao was a formidable executive and shipping industry leader, as well as a proud and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother. She was also a precocious youngster, learning about the shipping industry at an early age,” said the companies’ statement. Elaine Chao is the wife of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

NEW YORK, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Shares of Fisker Inc (FSR.N) fell by more than 24% to an all-time low on Tuesday after the electric-vehicle startup slashed its production targets as it struggles to ramp up deliveries. Multiple Wall Street analysts, including from Barclays, Evercore and Cowen, slashed their price target on Fisker's shares after its revised production forecast. The median price target of the 14 analysts covering the stock is $6.50, down from $8 a month ago, and their current recommendation is "hold", according to LSEG data. Unlike other EV makers, Fisker has outsourced its vehicle production to Canadian auto part supplier Magna International (MG.TO). Nelson reiterated his "strong sell" rating and halved his 12-month price target from $2 to $1.

Fisker began deliveries of its battery-electric Ocean SUV in the second quarter of 2023. But, it said, deliveries have accelerated since quarter-end, with over 1,200 Oceans delivered in October and "hundreds" more en route to customers now. The company said it and its manufacturing partner, Magna International , built 4,725 Oceans in the third quarter and delivered 1,097 to customers. Fisker produced 1,022 Oceans in the second quarter of 2023. "We are gaining momentum and delivered more units in the month of October than in all of the third quarter."

BERLIN, Nov 9 (Reuters) - U.S. electric vehicle startup Fisker (FSR.N) is negotiating with five carmakers over a partnership to secure additional production capacity for its vehicles, its Chief Executive Henrik Fisker said on Thursday. We can bring them to market fast - we just need the capacity," Fisker said, speaking to Reuters in Berlin. The CEO told Reuters in May he was exploring partnerships with everyone from suppliers to tech companies to scale up production. The SUV, called PEAR, will be built with Foxconn in Ohio, but further capacity is needed for both models. Still, it cut its annual production target in August and adjusted pricing in October as it grappled with a slowdown in electric-vehicle demand.

Unifor members at the facility had launched a strike on Wednesday after Magna was unable to reach a tentative deal before the strike deadline of Nov. 7. Magna's Integram plant manufactures seating for vehicles at Stellantis' (STLAM.MI) Windsor assembly plant as well as other Detroit Three plants in the United States. Unifor members at the Integram facility had previously voted 99% in favour of strike action.
